Trout facial

Probably the 2nd hardest trout I've had to spear, as you can see from this facial.

62
Went 62cm so was pretty happy with that considering I was in 3m of water and less than a km from the marina. This guy would have been 50cm back in a cave that had an opening not much bigger than his head. Took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to get to him. In the end just layed the gun on the bottom, semi aimed and blatted him and luckily he decided to wriggle out rather than in which I'm bloody thankful for. Was pretty stoked with how it turned out considering how deep he was and the fact that if I'd missed I'd probably still be there trying to get my spear out.

yup
Pretty good size for a gulf trout (near town). Biggest I've got on this side of the gulf is 69cm and that was the hardest one I've ever had to spear. These trout have seen a lot of people over their time so are cagey as all hell.
