Quick night fish
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Mon, 2009-03-23 23:23
A good night tonight with 2 of these at a good size for the location, couple of estuary cod and a few unstoppables. Also had a nice 5 ft shark hang around for a while, finally saw him in the headlamp, it appeared he must have been harrassing the bait for a while due to the amount of frayed leader and missing hooks.

My exact question
Adds, LB or inshore dinghy. West or Gulf. Would have thought def west. If it was a quick fish must have been near the lighthouse or Oysters at a guess.

and no gps coordinates or details of bait???
that rock does look very familiar.
looks like a nice catch Ads.
We're going to be up there in 3 weeks, for a few weeks. Knowing my luck we will only be attracting all the fish with our bait and not pulling any in. Will be handy for you guys having the big comp.
Cheers,
Scott

Inside the marina
Caught inside the marina somewhere on mullet off the shore and nearly pulled me in. :) I couldn't land them on 35lb flurocarbon, had to go up to 60lb jinkai and even then the leaders were coming back frayed as. Have to go and fillet and process him soon, but I'd say he'd go about 48cm.
