Late call from my old man in law to say that he is off to Melbs tomorrow to see his son & he had a request for his beloved dhuie, apparently the South Aus whiting is the only fillets worth a crack at the markets but his dash had been done.

Headed out a bit late for my liking but with the swell pumping it was no doubt a better choice passing the bombies, it did make life tough keeping baits & jigs in the zone with quick succession (the sounder looked like steady eddy had a hold of the transducer)

Anyway, apologies that it's not a political or soapbox thread but a kill shot (probably political enough). Couple of drifts & done for the day, trim tabs up & slid home.
