thats a nice size cod. what size release weight did you use for that one.?. would have been a bit of a shock when it started running with the weight in its gob

i've got the 24oz release weight but had to put an extra 4 16oz leads to get him down good to feel him try and swim off with the weight. would have broke my heart if he didnt live it was such a beautiful fish

Its a nice feeling when you first see a fish that size come up and even better when you feel it starting to take off before it gets back down to the bottom.
