White pointer

A mate sent me a video of two blokes diving for crays on the FF and being checked out by a WP around 3 meters. This was yesterday apparently .

Yeah watched it...the thing was massive and hung around for 8 minutes going by the video.

Surprised when his mate started to swim over to him and then it appeared out of know were right behind him, he must of shat when he turned around.

I thought they would stick together to surface, but his mate just fkd of on his own, other two continued to hunt for crays by the looks.

I had a scare during a solo dive last year helping a few blokes get there cray pot back...22m of water had 30 bar left, was about to head to the surface and bang...thing came out of the shadows..got the heart pumping big time, you feel helpless. But lucky he did a drive by and fkd off...fare to say I skipped the safety stop.

Exactly why I stopped diving

FFB in 25 metres of water about 5 years ago, I would even suggest it was the same GW ......checked us out twice the second time almost close enough to touch ......the ascent back up the anchor line will live in my memory forever and still sends shivers.  Ascended with a retracted undercarriage to present the smallest possible nonseallike profile.

That would do it for me too.

That would do it for me too. When I was a young bloke surfing all the time sharks were only a thought at the back of my mind. These days I am just too cautious to put myself in a position where there could be a threat. There seems to be just too many "interactions" some years.
