Hi tide at Hearsons you could catch small sharks, whiting, maybe threadies. Walk around to the rocks and chuck poppers at queenies, little trevs. Same goes for Cowrie and Watering Cove.
big bluebone off the shore there and good squid at times , you need to use small crabs for the bluebone though!! cheers(you can find the crabs under the rocks on the shore !!! cheers
ye the cause way is a great spot ive seen big GT's in there smashing bait fish, theres lots of eel's hiding in the rocks, theres quite alot of tarpon in there have caught a few red throat emperours in there which was a suprise.
also wen the sun start's to go down there is so many hermet crab there.
some of the bream in there are massive and the jacks
make sure u take a throw net aswell some of the mullet u get in the throw net there as the sun goes down the mullet are massive.
All of the above, and yes shoes and Bushman's a must at the causeway. Some other spots we tried when we came up with various rates off success. (then we got a boat).
Cleaverville on incoming 1hr to high- 1hr after high at the mouth on the rocks. Goodish for just a lazy fish with bait, or lures. The ones used depends on what the water clarity looks like. Flash colours if clear, and noise amkers when cloudy (ie poppers or rattles in the lure). Soaking a crab on a tough handline for Bluebones as mentioned above. Rest of the time there can be hit and miss.
Almost all beaches on an incoming tide, provided there is water. Some beaches totally empty out, but we have caught some (I mean some) fish even at back beach, with the Right hand side mangrove area being OK earlier to about now for Threadies. Live bait almost essential. Also good whiting to be had very close to shore as they scavenge the incoming wash zone.
A nice easy spot is the Damier marina. A Mulie lobbed out among the boat pens on a snelled rig can result in Mr Jack getting interested, then bloody hold on as they certainly have the upper hand there and often drill you. No good at low tide.
Withnall Bay if the tide allows through the mangroves (again sandfly stuff) as you come in has some rock flat areas, covered totally at high tide, and I have had some fun into deeper water there with slices and poppers, and just retreat as the tide comes in. Some nice blacktips and other sharps patrol the edges when the tide reaches the mangroves, and I personally would rather swim with them than walk through them.
If you have a 4x4 all beaches after the jump up I have heard are good for all sorts, but didnt get there.
I also like Wickham Beach, anywhere from the yacht club south, ie back to Karratha ( I think a compass shows you are going west but who cares). This sort off remind you off siting on Tims or Whitehills fishing from the Beach, apart from the tide range.
So there are options, but all can be hit and miss. IMO certainly not up with Exxy landbased at all.
Hopes this help, but even a small tiny opens up a new world.
the jump up is awsome if u have 4x4 the fishing in the bays are good
i have got big tuskfish, coral trout, rat GT's, sharks and evan blue nose salmon.

What Marco said, Point
What Marco said, Point Samson "the Causeway" worth the drive from Karratha, camp overnight.
It's like a bloody aquarium that spot, anything and everything can go through it and usually does.
Spray for the flies and a must is closed shoes.
I got cut on my heal and it didn't come good for a good 3 months+ nasty stuff those rocks and the bits that grow off 'em!
Then towards Pt Samson, turn of for Sam's creek on your left if I remember correctly, park car and walk up the creek to the mouth!
Boat ramp and surrounding area at Pt Samson can really produce as well.
Shit I need to go back up there!
