Broome - the story so far
Submitted by WODF on Wed, 2009-10-21 13:50
Well, not much to report lately. I've so far fished the waters around Reddell Beach, Entrance Pt. and the Broome Jetty on the weekend and earlier this week - a lot of hours put in for very little result. I've landed 2 fish and lost 4 - caught a pesky little longtom(lol), a broad-barred mackie and lost 2 big goldens, a salmon and a unknown. Anyway, I've been lucky enough to experience Broome's big tides - up to 9.8m since I've been here and also, a few other attractions. Beautiful place!
I'll let the pics tell the rest of this part of the story...
I'll keep you's posted.

nice pics
Nice pics, makes me home sick! You should go for a fish at the mouth of barred creek or the flats over near crab creek. Should catch something there. Take a hook and go for some mudcrabs at low tide. If you want any more ideas pm me.

Looks good mate, if you go to the right of the second boat ramp and fish off the rocks at low tide there are loads of queenies milling around the rocks. Keep in touch fella ace photos!!

Can you still fish off the wharf/jetty? I was up there a while ago and we picked up a few macks & tuna ripping silver lures off the bottom near the pylons.... we had to wait until the bait balls came in, though when they did that place was packed with predator fish!
