Fee for entry

Fri, 2011-04-01 10:44

was down at Hillarys last night and had look around. Not worth the $15 fee for entry. very few boats or displays. Hardly worth the effort.

No parking available in the trailer area until after 12 noon. Have to park on the south side or local school oval and pay gold coin for bus shuttler service.

Save your money for Mandurah

Agree; what a rip off for a so called boat show.

Very dissapointed indeed!

Not worth the money nor the effort of trolling down the pathetic compound!

Sadly the girls and boys manning the gates were copping some abuse from irate customers, they should have asked for the owner/manager and given their oppinion to these people in charge.

Felt very sorry for the tyrade 2 people at the gate served to a young person working there just earning some pocket money

Your time and money, come fishing.

Was down there this afternoon getting the boys to tie my Braid Lightning Bolt.

Lot's of staff, not to many customers.

boat show

Well this is the marine industry  ifor you or lack of it maybe it is up to the dealers to show up no1 and the public to back them the cost of represnting  a dealer ship or brand  can cost thousands of dollars for little gain especially at these smaller shows i will be working their tomorrow with Mansfield marine and will still have a blast talking about the dream.

Save your $$$$$

I read this too late. $15 entry and the poorest show I've been to. I used to enjoy the Hillary's show which was a meander through the grassed area & free. Now stuck in a small fenced carpark - few boats, little interest, overpriced and I really feel for the dealers who probably paid a good dollar for space. Mandurah will be the only one I will bother with in the future.
