Awesome New Light Jigging Rod
Submitted by Nelly on Wed, 2011-02-09 17:22
Just called into The Fishing Shop to pick up my two new Jigging Master rods. The Saber 100gm is freakin awesome, here's a pic of it loaded with about 4.5kg of weight. It's going to be great for light jigging/driftbaiting, I paid $239 for it.

So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

Yeah they look great for the money, are they closer to the PE1 or PE3 end of the spectrum? Could be an option for when I get a PE3 OH setup...

To compare... The Jig-Force
To compare... The Jig-Force is a bit stiffer throughout, the Saber bends a bit easier but they both have the same sort of low end power, i'd be fishing PE2 or 3 on it. You can seriously bend the hell out of this new Saber, and feel confident doing it.

Hahaha me too love my JM.Have 4 of there rods now. This is a very interesting rod softer than a jigforce but with just as much power and very forgiving.Would have no hesitation of giving it to a newbie and not worrying about them breaking it.
