After the birth of the second child, lifes been a little too full on to get out lately. But with the good weather and a long weekend i had booked a date with the yak and out we went. First drop with the placcie on an almost nothing lump resulted in a 65cm dhu, 20mins later found an awsome ledge covered in bait with produced a 75cm dhu half hour later heard ol mate hooting and hollering and he had just nailed a 85 on the jig. So with all three of us bagged out on the dhu we searched for some pink or blackass but only other fish we could wrangle up was another 71cm (released) dhu a few flatties and an awsome looking baby baldy (i think). Saw a nice sambo playing with a herring for 5mins, was kicking it out of the watter then jumping out and ontop of it, threw a few casts at him for fun but he had his fill on herring it seems. Good session to have after soo long. Cheers
