hmm small plastics.. just how small exactly?
i wouldnt reccomend this tho.
fiberglass rods are generally more sluggish, less responsive and heavier than their graphite counter parts. they might also have slower tips.

the more money you spend the better your life will be- for the most part. Ive had graphite rods that sucked for SP, then theres high modulus ($) graphite rods that i found were just better in every way pretty much.

Plastics
Hi mate, When fishing soft plastics it is definitley an advantage to have a faster tappered graphite rod. Something between 6'6"-7' is a typical length. The lighter and more responsive graphite rods like previously mentioned will impart better action to your plastics and help improve hookup/cupture rate.
