Media Profile
With your media profile, and all the shit going on about keeping a big marlin, perhaps best not to post kill shots. Little Johnny's photos in his recent post were excellent - the fish/cray could have been released. Don't get me wrong, I like to see the photos but many people don't. The food shot was a nice touch.
What a load of crap in comments on the ABC marlin story today. Good to see that Sea-kem sunk the slipper to some of the missinformed.

Sorry I don't agree Mick C
By not posting pics of our catches for fear of negative comments we are pandering those who elect to criticise our sport. I appreciate where you are coming from however this is a fishing site ffs and if a pic of the odd dead fish gets your tits in a tangle then I suggest this site is not for you. For clarity my last comment is not directed at you personally but to the knockers.

Hardly
Hardly a masive kill shot, I understand what your saying Mick but this is a fishing site, not F/b , and thats just a nice bag of fish, no different to thousands of other reports on here .
If it gets to the point that we cant even post a few fish pictures on a fishing site I may as well give up, but thats just what these idiots want.
On a side note, I have to remove many comments from my Youtube page from people getting upset that i catch fish then release them, they claim that it is more cruel than killing them . We will always be targeted by these people but i choose to ignore them or delete them.

Apologies
Sorry for the comment all. I certainly have posted plenty of kill shots over the years and personally see nothing wrong with it as long as it complies with Fisheries Regulations. I'm with most, I like to see the photos.
I have however copped flack over doing it on more than one occasion, so tend to just photograph the better fish just landed and use them. Probably better to avoid the issue rather than have to deal with all the time wasting negative shit.
That said, I couldn't help myself with this one a little while ago.
Cal and I attend the fish market auctions on a regular basis, and photography is not allowed in there .

Have a Read of This (and the Comments)

Good story, but most of the comments were infuriating. Pathetic keyboard warriors at their best.
