Quintrex trailer bearings?
Submitted by scano on Tue, 2011-04-26 11:34
Hi Everyone,
I am going to replace the wheel bearings on my Quintrex / Telwater trailer next weekend. The trailer model is a TEL46 and the boat that sits on the trailer is a Quintrex 435 Coast Runner (2007 model). My question is does anyone know what bearings these normally run?
That way i can buy the bearings and seals before I pull it all apart next weekend.
The trailer has square axle's and 5 stud 13 inch rims fitted.
I had a quick look using the search function but didn't seem to have much luck
any info would be appreciated

i'd be whipping the hub off
i'd be whipping the hub off and taking bearings and seal in to match up some new ones. there are quite a few different types used.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Pull and endcap off and wipe
Pull and endcap off and wipe away the grease. You should see an identification number stamped on the bearing surface.
