Oceansouth boat covers

 Oceansouth boat covers.

Hi guys, I am looking for anyone that has personal experience with the large jumbo boat covers from Oceansouth. It is for storage only and I have felt the material and it seemed quite thick. I have my boat parked under a Jacaranda tree and it is constantly getting filled with leaves. I think the cover will do the trick but I am wondering if anyone has has one for a period of time and see if they stand the test of time and how do they go with leaves. I have been through the search and read all the threads on covers and I don't need anything fancy like a custom made one, just looking for feedback that has had these type of covers and had them for a period of time.

Thanks in advance.

They still suffer in direct sun

I have had one for 8 months, It may go ok if the tree provides reasonable shade, mine cops direct sun and is showing big signs of deteriation after 8 months.

They come with good straps and buckles so keeping leaves out should not be a problem

For what you pay for them I would go custom next time.

The Cover Guys on Ebay

I don't know much about the Oceansouth covers, but I bought mine off ebay from The CoverGuys

Mine is in the sun most of the day and is still going strong, although it has slightly faded.

I have had mine for over 2 years, it does the job great by keeping out leaves and I don't get any insect shit on the fibreglass

I've had a couple of these get 2-2 1/2 years out of them in full sun and on a yearly rate I reckon that's OK
