Importing outboards?

Has any one imported an outboard from the states. Just curious as there seems to be a few people saving dollars importing boats but haven't heard much about outboards.

theres a mob on QLD who sells imported brand new engines as well.

Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.

Hi TapoutOur Company
Hi Tapout
Our Company freights alot of motors from the states, however we find that the cost difference for motors under 115hp by the time you add freight, gst and landed charges is not that far appart from here.
If you like give me a call and I can have a chat .
Cheers

Try searching for
Try searching for last-year's-plate models, you get good savings in the USA as they're discounted much harder, as there are more of them.
IIRC there is are Suzuki DF90's around for about $6800 and portsea can help with freight, no doubt.
