Frustratingly they're stuck at customs - And I want to go fishing before the demersal ban and before I fly back to work. Regardless I've heard nothing but fantastic things about whiteys charters - I'm not a snob it will be an enjoyable day on the water no matter what or whose boat I'm on.
I take it from your smart arse comment your not interested though ;-)

I'll probably do it as a day trip
But may chuck in the swag and stay 1 night depending how i feel, If you want a lift that's all good mate. As for spots available your best bet is to ring them and ask :-)

I'm heading up for the Friday charter Kane, it's currently 50/50 whether it will happen though because of the wind... although having another look on WillyWeather Friday's winds look better than Thursday's now so it should be happening.
Be interesting to see if the northerly makes a difference.

Quick report
Had a top day, brilliant charter operator - highly Recomend it to anyone. treterous conditions for anything less than a cray boat till mid morning... Tonnes of fish landed and after alot of frustration over the past year or so the penny dropped and I finally got the demersal jigging technique down pat landing about half my catch on jig.
Fish caught were a shitload of blackarse, pinkies, baldies and a few dhuies ( most dhuies returned undersize )
Loads of small sambos, few nor west blowies and the odd wrasse.
Nice to meet dj dvd and was fun knocking back copious amounts of alcohol - not so fun today was the hangover as we packed up and drove home.
