tm260 or tm270w transducer

im looking at getting a new transducer for my hds 10

im stuck between the tm260  $750  or the tm270w $1200

does having the wide make alot of differance

Could actually be a bit of a negative getting the wide beam, its spreading it's power over a much larger area. Think of it as the difference between a spotlight and a flood light.

Tell me though, in your tranny setup options on the HDS10, are there either of these trannies?

Furuno CA200B-8B or CA50B-9B

I wonder if the lowrance supports multiple trandsducers somehow?

They're a bit odd, they're single frequency trannys, one is 200, the other 50khz, you can use them together with a switch box on Furuno, unsure about Lowrance.

Maybe thats what SAS was trying to do awhile back on a HDS10?

Keep in mind, no temp sensor either, but you can get a separate one.
