hey,
i just learnt how to snell hooks. im positive i have donw it right its no as difficult as i thought it might be however the tag end of the rig doesnt seem as tight to me as it could. im using 100pound line and its sitting well but it seems there is a danger tag end after some time may loosen and slip through (even after i pull it real real tight). its not visibly loose it just seems a bit didgy to me. is this just waht they look like?? and does the tag end ever slip through??
cheers
Tim

Lighter
You can use a lighter to melt the end of the tag into a ball to stop it slipping thru.
Just be carefull of the molten nylon.

80 pound line...
...pulls up firmer when snelling, well for me anyway! I use mostly Black Magic for my hook traces and the 100 pound stuff is a bit stiffer and a better chance to come undone.
