Lowrance HDS7 or Ray Marine E7

hey everyone im upgrading my sounder. currently have a Humminbird 757 and looking at either the Lowrace HDS7 or Ray Marine E7-D. if anyone has any advice or has either one of these units and can share there pros or cons it would be appreciated. thanks

If I had to choose it would be the raymarine it's compatible with there new chirp transducers coming out next month it has blue tooth to iPhone so you can watch your sounder from anywhere on boat plus lots more

spend the extra and get the hds 8 with the soft buttons!!! so much easier to use

Definaely Raymarine over HDS7, HDS8 as closer call as it has the soft keys. I think the raymarine will be a slicker package to use.

I just had a look at the HDS 8 and it does seem easier to use. i will go and have a look at them tommorow.
