Starting this thread to get some of the home brewers on here posting some recipes and tips. Unfortunately haven't got anything to start it off right now but hoping others do! I've just been doing basic lagers and ales lately but will get creative in the next month or 2

Kick off
Ok I'll kick it off with a couple...
1st one: NSC Pale Ale (This picked up a Bronze in a comp)
1kg Light Dry Malt Extract
1 x Can Coopers Pale Liquid Extract (1.7kg)
0.20kg Caramalt
0.15kg Caramel Wheat Malt
20gms Nelson Sauvin (11.5%) @ 20mins
10gm Nelson Sauvin (11.5%) @ 5mins
10gms Cascade (7.8%) @ 5mins
10gms Cascade (7.8%) @ 0 mins
1 pkg Safale US05
OG: 1044
FG: 1012
Alc%: 4.27
Bitterness: 30.6 IBU
Colour: 18.0 EBC
Steep the grains for 60mins at approx 65C in a bag in 3.3L of water then remove and boil liquor (should be 3L) and add hops at designated intervals. Allow to cool. Combine the extracts (Light Malt and a tin of Coopers Pale Liquid extract) in the fermenter and also add the liquor. Top up to 20L. Ferment at 18 - 20C
2nd one: Two-can APA
1 x Can Coopers Draught
1 x Can Coopers Real Ale (or Pale)
15gm Nelson Sauvin (11.5%) @ 5mins
15gm Nelson Sauvin (11.5%) @ 0mins
0.10kg Dextrose
2 x Coopers packets
OG: 1052
FG: 1012
Acl%: 5.14%
Bitterness: 29 IBU
Colour: 16 EBC
Boil the dextrose in 1L of water and add hops as per schedule. Combine with cans in fermenter and top up to 20L. Ferment at 18 - 20C
If you want to make it real easy just add the 2 cans or combine another 2 like the Pale and the Cervesa or the Pale and Canadian Blonde. This way you will get a fuller bodied maltier, tastier beer.
Drink & enjoy!!

Will look at doing that 2
Will look at doing that 2 can one on my next brew.. Was looking for Nelson sauvin hops online yesterday but couldn't find any. I'm guessing they're out of season. Will any other hops do the the job? I'm also looking at doing a fat yak copy soon. Will post up my recipe when I do

Nelson has fairly distinct
Nelson has fairly distinct passion fruit tones, but you could just use Cascade, Amarillo or any other Citrusy hops for a good beer.
youre only adding these for the flavour and aroma profile. All the bitterness will come from the cans.
TWOC should have them in stock though.

Ginger infused ale
Put this one in the fermenter today, interested to see how it turns out.
2 cans Coopers Real Ale
2kg Coopers brewing sugar
1 jar crushed ginger (boiled for about an hour and filtered before adding to mix)
Zest of 2 lemons added to ginger boil
Yeast from the cans
Filled up to 46L
Nearly added some brown or raw sugar to the ginger boil because it was extroadinarily bitter but it chilled out a bit once I added the other ingredients. Looking forward to it!
