Just wondering who's heading up to Exmouth this year and when? I know of a few who are, but thought I may as well start a thread and see. Surely there must be a few gamex contenders about?

I'm up there for Gamex. Should be an absolute ball tearer. Looking forward to it so much. Sponsored by Shimano. Still working on a beer sponsor. Catch up for a beer or 2 while I'm up there. We've got a couple of units across the road from the Pot Shot.

Similar crew to last year. Looking for my Billfish duck to be broken. Will be good to catch up for a few beers when and if we get up there.

Whats the actual dates of gamex this year? Was hoping to get up there around the tornament days. Also does anyone know if you have to register if you are just a deckie? Hopeing to get on a mates boat to fish but hes not confirmed yet so if anyone got a spare spot give us a yell and im more than happy to chip in with all expenses and the like. Thanks alot Chris. Otherwise ill be up there around the 8th to the 14th. Im taking my bus up and might have some spare seats if anyone needs a lift or wants to go in convoy.

Mitch is on the money, you need to be registered for the comp and you also need to be a member of EGFC (the game fishing club) as far as I know.

yep will be there for Gamex,
yep will be there for Gamex, comp starts 18th of march till the 24th. U dont need to be a member of EGFC but you do have to be a member of a gamefishing club. All people on your boat are competetors so deckies must be enrolled in the competition, also u need to have a VHF radio. LET THE GAMES BEGIN.
We will also be also staying in the osprey units opposite the potshot.

Will be there but not sure if i will have the chance to fish Gamex yet. May have to work. If i get a day of throughout that week will def head out for a look and wet a line. We will have to get out there Adam and show them all how its done. lol

April school holidays is the
April school holidays is the go. Towing a 5.5m ali boat up. Mates reckon that April/May is great boating weather with pretty good fishing - can`t wait. Fished Exmouth a few times but mainly from smaller boats. Will be staying in rental accomodation from Easter Sat till the following Sat. Hopefully will catch up with you Adam.

Sorry boys SPESS has to pull out due to work commitments. Alittle pissed off but will get up there later in the year. Hoping around the july mark. Have a great time, post up some pics and get smashed for me! PS dont worry my company is paying well for me to stay so it should amount to some more days off next time. HAVE FUN.
