Well as the title says, I've broken my ankle and in a moonboot for the next 6 weeks and I'm already having fishing withdrawals. I've got a boat but can't launch it. Can't walk down the beach or climb rocks. The best I can manage it sitting on the banks of the Swan throwing away bait.
Sooooo my question to all you generous fisherman out there, is there anybody who can help me out a little and take me for a fish? I have all my own gear, although at the moment it's still in my boat, which I can't climb into. I can tie my own rigs and all that jazz, but basically the only thing I can't do is stand on 2 feet. I'd be happy to do anything from chasing bream on the Swan, to squid and whiting inshore and demersals and pelagigs offshore. Can do either bait, jigs/plastics or trolling. I can still handle being out in a boat all day, just can't really spend too long standing up.
If anyone would be so kind to help me out, and I know asking this with a busted ankle is a long shot, but I would really appreciate it. Normal deckie etiquette will still apply and I will provide my share of fuel, bait, beers, ice and anything else required for a trip.
