best clip swivels

anyone out there know of any really good clip swivels to be used with 80 - 100 lb lines ??

ive been using coast locks and finding they are a little small and weak and hawaiian clips have a bad habit of turning around and the swivel working its way out

on cambells site i see a brand "rite angler" rated to 200,300 and 500lb - anyone used this brand at all ??

ive got good swivels but just needing good snaps as im not sure how a big split ring would go trolling

The best.

The best is Ricter hi-tensile clips that are hand made by a guy called Denise Swenel (spelling) in SA. Small size, very strong and most reliable clip around.

Richter also does the same clip with fixed ball bearing swivel also.

We sell them, priced well in the market place.

sofar this year and have no probs with them , they have landed 5/6 30kg sambos on the same clip and it still looks brand new. every other clip i have tryed are stuffed after 1or2 fish except some game ones i tryed once where good but you only got 4 for ten bucks so now i only use hawian snaps

i have only had a couple of probs with the hawiian clips but that was the real cheap immitation. i find them great for easy release of rigs. never had one of the good ones put out of shape. as far as good snap swivels go , the black magic have never let me down , they even held up great with a couple of 100kg plus sharks

I use the Richters for my gamefishing and they have never even looked like failing. Not the cheapest swivels around the place though but they go the distance.

thanks for the input guys .. ryan i'll drop in soon and have a chat about ttthe richter ones you have .. the hawiian ones that ive used are great till you start jigging with them as the clip tunrs around and works it way out of the very small but strong swivels im using . the only way ive fixed this is to run a small amound of tubing between the swivel and the rig to prevent it from swapping end for end .. but im sure thats going to be a bad idea up north chasing macks and billies as the bubble trail might get bitten knowing my luck.

sampo's for me, the last 20 odd years they have always been the swivel we have used in gamefishing and never ever had an issue with one.
