YYeeewww eventually scored a metro mack in the tinnie
Eventually got one was in about 30m of scarborough trolled round some bait fish to get nothin so stopped and set the shark balloons out and a couple a scalies wire rigged down the trail, me mate was of the back of the boat doin no 2 when i joking yanked one of the lines which gave him a fright but then one just took off so i set the hooks but after one massive run complete dead weight felt like a ray so gave the rod to me mate, then we saw colour and awsom sight he was coming up sideways but the hooks had slipped and only holding by one in the skin and missed with the first gaff shot and he took off couple of min later set the gaff just in time cos of a approx 60kg tiger was going straight for it . He circled and eventually bugged of not even one bit interested in me balloned baits but very wrapped for first metro mackie in me tinnie

Great fish
There was about 20 boats all trolling the back of staggies yesterday morning. I think Sherb's pics this past week have stirred up a fair bit of mackie interest.
Cheers
