Unexpected capture

Caught this guy while chasing black bream in Mandurah this morning. Took a squidgie wriggler on 6lb leader and put up a great little battle. I was very suprised to see him.

little diamond trevor
often confused with a pennant fish, but the slopping head gives it away. Far from home little lad.

Lost fish
Looking forward to when I can pop down and pick up the odd coral trout instead of tailor for lunch!

After thought
Was that cuaght in the canal system, or out to sea. Chasing bream I missed. If it was in the canals or eastuary an even more unusual catch.

.
It was caught in the middle of town crasny, not in the ocean. You never know what you might catch next these days.

Diamond
crasny is correct. That's cool! Last week someone got a metro Pennantfish, and the difference is obvious http://fishwrecked.com/forum/little-bit-lost
