Welldone mate, i took my partner for her 1st squid on sat morn we got about 20. released another 10 coz we had enough for a feed and for a little bait. I found it really easy cleaning them out at sea and washing them in salt water. Great feed you have there:)
we werent targeting squid to start with, we found a bit of gravel bottom and some reef which i quess had weed and ancored there. after a while of fishing on the bottom and only catching a grap fish and a 30cm port jackson shark i got bored and through out a jig. i put it in the rod holder and jigged it every now and again then casting it back out and kept going for 10 odd minutes. there was a bit of weed on the surface so wen my rod loaded up a bit i thought it was weed but as soon as i picked up the rod i could feel the pulsing and knew it was a squid. it was the small one then i got the 24cm one and then let my dad have the last one. the bigger one was pulling hard i was quite impressed.
but yer in 15m of water. it was not murky but not clean. first time in my newest boat and new motor. we went out to run in the motor and getting the squid was a bonus. but i also inked the side of the boat dad wasnt very impressed haha.

Good to see you got a few. What jig is that?
Cant say i've really tried squidding in 15m though. Prefer to keep it under 8m (but may have to branch out :p)
