stickbaited sailfish

Got this nice sail yesterday in Exmouth Gulf on a cast and retrieved stickbait. We were drifting and it refused the garfish numerous times but took the stickbait after 5 casts about 5m from the boat. It didn't get the chance to fight much as I wanted it in the boat asap- I'd always wanted one on a cast lure so wasn't going to lose it. It released well. Earlier Dave also got his first sail sight cast on a gardie and we finished the day off with 2 big coral trout on softies and light gear.

Very Nice
Nice work Tim. Must be pretty awesome to cast for billfish. I'm trolling tomorrow, hopefully I'll get a nice Pacific Blue in the boat.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
