Wouldn't be to many silver trevally around there Neander. The ones that far north are known as trevs mate, goldspots predominantly from that area in my experience.
Certainly a scary place at times as your generally fishing with your back to the swell.
My dad (uncle) had a scary experience once where he was washed against the cable by a large swell. Luckily he managed to grab the cable or it wouldn't have been good.

yeah its a prity dodgy spot.. the reason why the fisheries put the cable up is because soo many ppl have fallen of that particular spot.. its about 10-15m drop.. the guys were tellign us that in winter you get waves coming over the top of the rock that high up and it can be very touch and go.. ever the less it happend to be the place we had the only big hook ups (spooled on one) definantly not a place for light gear!
