Still put up a good fight
Still put up a good fight dont they, i got one similar size this morning. Did you get anything else today? I just managed a decent size foxfish bottom bouncing after a quick run to the barges

A pretty good day
6 Dhuies, 3 pinkies, a baldie, 3 Blackarse, a sambo, a fox fish, 2 good queenies, a swallowtail, and a western devil.
The only undersize fish we got was one of the Blackarse and one or two of the pinkies.
Kept two dhuies at 5kgs a Blackarse and the baldie. Also kept that sambo for a sambo curry.
The release weight had a big work out today.

I did notice last time out
I did notice last time out the bait was starting to show on some of the patches around that area. Will try some close in stuff on the way through on Sunday.

The sounder was lit up big time
On just about all my spots we tried, there were loads of fish. At one point the entire screen was covered in large arches, not bait clutter, but large arches... My guess was a school of pinkies.
Lots of bait on the surface too.

Shoulda gone out with you
We shoulda followed you around Andy! I went out with Simon C and we didn't manage anything into the esky other than a nice arrow squid I got while jigging in 80m! Caught a few tuna on light gear which was fun, checked the fads but nothing about, had a jig on some sambos at the barges but not interested. Didn't even see many fish on the sounder, musta been all in closer where you were! Still great day out on the water!
