Headed out from Dawesville on Tuesday, it was a leisurely start at around 10.30am and headed out into the 50s. The weather was perfect and it didn't take too long to get my target fish. I had two lines over one flick rod and one bigger. Both went off virtually at the same time. I fought the big one 1st and hauled in the nice Dhufish but the flick rod got spooled and lost it. I decided that will do as didn't want to risk hooking another Dhufish and having it not go back down. I moved in shallower for a bit and came across a big school of Swallowtail. Rare for me from here, normally only see them down Albany way. Also hooked three big sharks and called it quits after that. All in all a pleasant day on the water.
