Headed over to jacks creek on friday to get some jacks. Spent tge night in the boat in the swag. Got a few bluenose salmon at the mouth. 3 jacks were caught. Heard the barra boofing at night. Lost one. Went for a troll in the arvo when we could get out of the creek at high tide. Got rewarded missus got spooled bit hard when trying to chase fish when you have a double header and the fish are swimming different directions. Hers was alot bigger going by the fights it did 5 runs and didnt show any sign of slowing down. Possibly a wahoo.
Caught on pretty light gear penn spinfisher sv4500 with 30lb braid. Almost got spooled myself. Cant wait to get another one!!
Halco deepdiver did the damage red and gold
