Have heard that a few charter boats down south pull their own amateur cray pots while on a charter and cook them up for a feed while camping overnight.
Hopefully we will be leaving Fremantle after the refit in time to get up to Exmouth for our first Montes trip departing Sunday 18 February, first trip in Coral Bay will be around 10 April
getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.
Cant, left all the fishing gear up in Coral Bay, but will be looking for a charter from Coral Bay to Exmouth 3-4 days, we always try and do a charter up to and from Exmouth when we go up to do the Monte's trips, GAMEX and AIBT

what rod are you running?I have mine on the 56 hs saltiga it puts on some hurt.come to think of it i will have to take that to Coral bay as well. Now all i need to do is work out which crew member i will leave home to make way for the gear.hahaha.Whats a montes charter worth Bernie?Had a guy at work talking about one today.
A group of six is $3,250.00 per person, 7-8 works out at $3,000.00 per person. We have one leavng Exmouth on Sunday 18 March, have 3 booked at the moment, need some more, any takers? All food, bedding, tackle and bait included, only need to bring along towel, toiletries, alcohol and or soft drinks. All types of sport fishing, two dingys and 2 kayaks and snorkelling gear provided.
I know this is slightly off the subject but are you just going to change the name or do you have a ritual you will go through to change the name on the boat.. I have always been told bad luck to change a name so i havent changed my boats name but want to. just a case of not wanting so called bad luck?
We have changed the name of every boat we have had, this is the fourth one, we could have a ritual I suppose?? We had Mahi Mahi, Mahi Mahi 1, Mahi Mahi 11 and now this one will be changed to Mahi Mahi 111 We did have another one called Bella Del Tindari, that we used for commercial fishing, left the name and it sunk! Ummmmm

Looks to be a good replacement once you have got all the covers and accommodation sorted. Are you going to leave the pot winch and tipper?
