On friday last week off mindarie north. Sight casted at a few crackers but very flighty. Not all the sportsfish are on a fad in the middle of a parking lot of boats. Nice fish for west coast standards will take a bit to beat that one. There are a few very good YT kings up that way but not easy landing them in the areas they inhabit.
True. My mate I own the boat with has had a school of dollies and a big Wahoo swim around the boat in his last two trips bottom bashing out of mindarie. Said the dollies were flighty too, and the Wahoo wasn't interested in anything and spooked it off when he hit in the head with a plastic haha
saw some yellow fin tuna feeding while we were bottem bashing so we did a pass with just one little skirted lure and bang thinking the whole time it was going to be a massive tune

What got you to troll in 50m?
That's likely to be a PB for a while. Well done.

So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.
