Just one more dhu on jig with Seasport Charters (Whitey) 7 January 2012

Just one more dhu on jig with Seasport Charters (Whitey) 7 January 2012

Another great fun day with fairly trying weather. A lot of of Fishwrecked people on the boat. I think we had to work a little harder than usual for our fish, but Whitey made sure it happened. The fish was about 90cm and it was taken on a Patriot Cyber Edge 155g on a Daiwa CJ, Shimano TP5kSW and Daiwa Saltiga Boat Braid PE3.

I think there was another dhu the same size up, but then damn Whitey pipped us, right at the end. The usual smattering of baldies and pink snapper came up as well as some small AJs and Sambo and a Stripy Tuna as well.

Ta guys and ta Seasport Tackle!

I have an online business which gives me great flexibility, I'm also a student, so plenty of time to cop off there too ;)

Whitey certainly knows where the fish are, just gotta find some hungry ones ;)

Yeah, but you gotta rack the miles up on holidays and my freezer was completely empty by the end of the ban.

I took the family up and spend the day at Lake Thetis and the Pinnacles so I didn't have that hell-mission drive back after a big day on the water either.

Dhu is vac-packed except the wings and belly (tea tomorrow nite), the frame was fish-stocked, and the head (Alfred's fish head soup). Tonite we had a little pink snapper done in beer batter - pics to follow!
