Jurien Pinkie

Jurien Pinkie

well got back from jurien coupkle of hours ago and had a good trip apart from the little fishing we got to do. The mornings were alright and we could manage to get the tinny around the back of the islands and fish the lumps in 13m, but at about 9am every morning the wind picked up and made for a verrry wet trip back. when we managed to get out we picked up heaps on small pinks and a few blackass. managed this big pink yesterday morning before the wind blew its box off. it went 85cm and just under 7kg.

once the wind picked up we would head in close and troll 30g twistys around the islands with big herring, tailor and snook all going nuts smashing the lures as soon as they hit the water, had a few fun sessions on them with light gear.

done some snorkelling, biscuiting, and other touristy crap as well when we couldnt get out.

Good fish mate. The wind sure is a pain in the butt this time of year.

Three days without it and I get a little jumpy

Great that you got into a bit of action before heading back to work and school. Nice bit of bling you have there too.
