Look like bludger trevally to me?

Fri, 2006-07-21 16:38

Plague proportions in some spots up there.

They fight pretty hard though for their size.

Cheers

Got it in one Andy

Sure are bludger trevally. At one stage we couldn't get through them to the mackies on the trawl. We had 3 triple hookup in a row. You would look down into the crystal clear blue water and all you could see were massive schools of the bludging b@stards

Think you are probably right KC. Might have to have a quick squizz next time at the tackle store. Don't remember the Halco having the metal bib now that you bring it up.... hmmmmm..

You can just see the wire in this photo, did some resizing :)
Can see rapala written on it clearly too. :)))

twisted

Tue, 2006-07-25 12:47

The wire was all twisted around the bib of the lure and the first treble, that is why the ring is lying flat and it appears to be not attached to anything. I might add that the end treble totally twisted and warped the tow ring beyond repare, that lure wont be gettin used again.
