Some good chewing there Andy, unlike most sharks, wobbies get better eating the bigger they are.

Problem

I've never heard of anyone getting heavy metal poisoning from eating big wobbies and I mean ones in the 4 metre plus region. Have always taken wobbie in preference to scale fish for years and haven't had any bad experiences. Over the years I've had hundreds of blood tests for you name it and haven't recieved any reports along those lines.

Whether it was something in that one shark or in something else that you ate with the shark we will never know now, but it would have been worth going to a doctor if you were as bad as that and getting tests done to find the cause.

Have you had a blood test since you got sick? Pretty sure if it was heavy metal poisoning it stays in the body and would show up when tested.
