The Eagle Has Landed

Got the Boston Whaler off the docks yesterday, boat is like new, a lot better than I expected and the Yanks have added amlost every concievable extra with no added cost (infill mattress for the V berth, full carpet set, new set of clears, high quality life jackets, rope sets, cleaning products, spare bearing buddies, and a heap of other little goodies).......Gotta love the Yanks!
Took the trailer over the pits today, all good after a few mods to make the US trailer compliant. Now to take her out and get her wet.
Discovery tows it very well.

Bit over $83k landed with new
Bit over $83k landed with new trailer. Boat is 2009, fully optioned up, done 46 hours. Not cheap but seems to be a quality rig, Boston Whaler quality really is pretty nice in the flesh.......on land at least.....I guess I had better get it wet and then we will see.

hahaha, overhang looks much
hahaha, overhang looks much worse than it is as the bunks extend all the way to the very back of the hull, with only the motor overhanding. Its just that the buks are black, same colour as the poxy antifoul (only thing on the boat I dont like.......seems the Yanks love the stuff.
All good over the pits, everything was measured and signed off as OK.

Nice one John - she looks sweet!
Reckon a few fish will be making their way onto the decks in no time.
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
