I use a snelled hook setup with 12-16oz of lead for this depth (110m). This one was on a strip of fresh bluefin but I'll use ocky, squid and some fish baits butterflied like herring, whiting etc
They do put up a good account for themselves at first but the fight is over pretty quickly, it's all about the first 30 seconds turning them and getting them away from the nasty ground we're fishing.

Do they fight well from that depth? They are a very adaptable fish that's for sure.
