Just a quick question
Just a quick question Johnny, I'm a bit green, last year was my first season potting.
If the crays are in close and double shelled would this mean they are about to shed then walk? I'm down in Capel so times may vary but any info would be appreciated.
Cheers, Choc.

Yes 100 per correct choc
Outer shell softens prior to shedding ( red) once shead they harden up and march( whites). They don’t eat in shedding process. Hence pots full when they run. Starving .thats my understanding could be wrong ?

Once a cray sheds its shell, does anyone know roughly how long it takes before its hardened up enough for them to walk?
