It was interesting to see that your brother in law
was using a surf popper rig and was doing very well with it Paul.
Tell him to have a look at the latest issue of Fishwrecked Reeltime (there is a link at the bottom of my post) where there is an article on home made surf poppers.

Yeah cool, thanks Colin.
Yeah cool, thanks Colin. He said it was a salmon rig he got at BigW and thought he'd give it a crack :-) I think he lost the popper half way through too :-) I spoke with him today and he said he's in the process of joining up, so I'll let him know about the site too.
and don't worry, the spots a secret :-)

Surf poppers
Interestingly Colin I was out shopping with my short change last weekend and couldn't get a surf popper rig anywhere at the tackle shops. I was in K-mart for some strange reason and BANG! There they were so I bought a dozen pre-made Jarvis Walker rigs. Sorry mate, I am a slack bastard at times LOL.
No disrespect to all of our great sponsors but please; get some fuggin surf popper rigs in! LOL.

Don't ask me.. Ask the Fish!
Colin! One thing to bear in mind.. We have a 9 month old Kitten that would go ballistic if it got hold of one of those. Secondly, what bird did you "hair dress" to get the tails? Thirdly, do you get your wife to buy the nail polish as you use some pretty fancy colours mate. Oh, and last but not least.... Do you attend the Madi-Gras? LOL
Seriously though. They look fantastic.

Buying the nail polish is nothing compared to having to pull a few feathers out my chickens tails.
