great pic.he looks stoked about his new rod. one thing tho , if your taking him fishing tie the rod to him as i have seen lots of kids drop their rod in the drink when they were told to throw their line in . its going to be good to see him with his first fish
i brought one a year ago just for a joke and it was awsome. i used in out of the Kayak in rockingham, i got kg's herring, flounder, garfish and used it back here in perth on Kgplus skippy.
on thing tho change the line coz after awhile it strenghtes and becomes un manageable.
good stuff and we all wanna see the photos of him reeling them in.
You might have created a monster!!.All your weekends have just flown out the window for the next 15 years untill he's old enough to drive himself around and your hook and sinker supply has permanantly disappeared once he learns to cast with it.

But you will never regret it though.

Funny
Funny comments guys, thanks, I know my dad's tackle supplies suffered dearly when I was a young bloke - didn't think of that!!
The comment about throwing the line in is so true - kids, it will be a crack up for sure to see his little face when he's on for the first time.
He's a bloody fast learner, so he probably will show me up in no time, I'll have to hang the boat up in the shed!! Like my dad did to my bike
Cheers,
Jason
