VERY NICE!

im impressed mate, what kinda steel did you use? Like the beads as well, thats probably the biggest problem with the ones you can buy here, they collapse on themselves where you have the bead to stop that happening.

yer i had to put the split

Sun, 2011-03-06 14:53

yer i had to put the split rings on as i was melting the swivels when i soldered them. hafta find some stainless steel swivels. Ive ordered a heap of stainless steel mandrels. they are used for bead work can get them in all sorts of sizes. there stiff as. stronger than tig wire. can knock up some 2.4 mm ones too.

beads, good idea

Bit of glow at night is a great idea. I use alot of these sliders,

and can see how the glow beads,(or any bead) would stop the spring from distortion.

Mabee look at selling some when I get my hands on some stainless steel swivels so they dont melt. Have enough supply to make about 50 more.
