Stocked 5 km of cable beach drifting along the a blistering run, circled the boat 12 times instructed the wife how to land the gaff shot. Told the dog to shutup a few times but somehow managed to land it with no wire

yea surprising
but took it to the fishing club on certified scales and that what came up. It was a long fish as my wife is 158cm I reckon the Macky was 140cm

when you try to get mackies
when you try to get mackies or taylor with out wire they bite you off but when you don't use wire and aren't going for toothy species they are landed with out a problem caught a tailor on a whiting rig witha tiny peice of squid using 6 pund line same thing didn't kniw how i landed it
