Awsome
We used to be agents for them, not any more. One of the best riding 6m boats I have tested. Real solidly built, unlike most modern glass boats. Heaps of deck space and a decent sized cabin. Pretty cheap compared to simalar sized glass boats aswell.

What I'd heard
Id heard that they were a pretty good riding boat and they are cheap for a boat that size.
Only negative that I heard was more about the finish of the boat. Just not as pretty as some.
Im looking to upgrade the 5.5 Genesis to something to suit the missus a bit more and this might be a cheap upgrade to a 6m boat for offshore.

I havent seen a new for about a year so not sure on what they are like now. Pretty sure their will be one going up for sale soon from one of our customers. 150hp Honda and probably 3 years old been sheded its whole life. Should be able to get his number for you if you want to have a look. Prob $20k cheaper than a simair sized haines.

Was in Midway today. As far as I know that ones sold Andy. Went for 40k.
Boat City has them now. Start at about 47k as far as I have found out so far. Havent actually called in to chat to them yet. They have them in their ad in the current FWA.
Will be able to update you next weekend.

Stability
The 615 is meant to have a 21 deg dead rise which goes all the way through. What is the stability at rest or drifting Andy. Do they roll much at rest.

Yer that one sold a month, 6 weeks ago. I was talking about another boat that could be going up for sale. They are real stable at rest. Go into boat city and say you want a sea trial, you will be impressed. We are moving over to north queensland and are looking at getting one over there.

Thanks
Was planning on trying one out especially as you have confirmed alot of what I have been able to find out from the eastern states.
Should be easy to get one in QLD as they seem to be popular there.
Thanks for the info Andy.

gday tim i build and run
gday tim i build and run coraline boats and we supply boat city and even being a glass boat they are still a rival. as for the performance they are 1 of the most stable boat on the market quik and reliable boats. they ride the chop well . i think your best bet to be properly impressed by the boat is to take it for a demo in a windy uncomfortable day and it is only then the boats true colours will come out and you can work out wether it is right for you.
hope i was of some help
cheers breno

Thanks Brenz
Went in today to have a look. Was very impressed at what you get for the price.
Not much chance of a demo though as they are all sold before they turn up. Only really offered a demo if I signed up.
Maybe Ill go back to the upsizing of the Genesis or maybe try a Coraline.

Same guys also had a Haines Traveller we are considering as well. Looked at an Allison today too so if we can just get a good deal and decide we might get the upgrade soon I hope.
