WOOOHOOOOOO - Just won a days fishing at karratha!!! ## UPDATE ##
Working out at Barrow Island they had a raffle and about 10 of us won a days fishing out of Karratha, to top it off its while we are rostered on to work so a couple of days off to go fishing on full pay - STOKED!!!

Had a good day out with Pilbara Sea Charters - Any day being paid to drink beer and go fishing cant be bad can it! 
Apologise for lack of photos - hopefully some will be distributed soon - ( dumbarse kane forgot to charge his phone ) but im sure youll agree the boat is a beauty!
Ok so fish - the day started out fairly slow with a couple of dudd spots but steadily the fish started coming over the side, helped by 4 or 5 of the guys berlying up orally all day :D
Ended up with a esky full of fish, got about half a dozen red emperor, spanglies, red throat, etc, couple of nice sized golden trevs and PLENTY of sharks.
Highlight was a sailfish swimming right up to the boat and hanging around for 5 - 10 minutes which we then managed to entice to take a floated bait and it gave one BIG screeming run before spitting the hook.
Cant fault the charter, was a fun day, we caught fish and Tim the skipper was busy all day keeping us on the fish and loaded with bait....arms are bloody sore today from fishing with bloody heavy broomsticks, big reels and 100 lb mono all day but hey - thats charters for you.
Hopefully will add a few pics in a few days as they are distributed, back at Barrowdise again now for the rest of my hitch - cheers for reading

Have been lucky enough to fish off some of the rigs up here over the years, although it is getting rarer the wandoo still permits it.
diving daily at barrow and on the rigs up on the northwest shelf does get frustrating seeing all the top quality fish and not being allowed to put a straight hook or circle hook through a couple!
