cant help to much paul,but
cant help to much paul,
but around the entrance to parker point (south side) just to the left as you come in, there is always dive boats there, to close for spearguns i think but apparantly good viewing.
lots of reef around that area and the bay itself is awesome for a snorkel and a beer or 6.
you can snorkel around the gaps in the reef like a track, exellent for the chickens like me who like to see the bottom?
it is alot deeper where the boats anchor up...to deep/dark for me!!
cheers mate

There is some nice turf out
There is some nice turf out from Salmon Bay in the 20m range. Quite nice to tuck in the bay in between dives too, especially if there is any northerly in the wind.

Find your own but, most of
Find your own but, most of those spots are for tourists that don't know any better.
I swear if anyone tries to take me to roe reef again its going to be justifiable homicide. Such flogged reef, so so so many other divers and zero crayfish.

One of the benifits of having your ownboat I suppose.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

southern side best
because of the swell direction and currents, I've always found the the south/east side of the Rotto always the cleanest water.
