Finally got back to Rotto after a few years in between building boats
Left Gero 0430 and fueled both boat and truck up $850 in Perth
Managed to catch the sea breeze on the way over and was surprised to see the beach moorings half empty.
Misjudged the tide and ended up with the kids piled up against the gunwhale.
Did jump rock today (thanks Alex )
Here til 2nd of 3rd, feel free to say gidday
Added some pics, got a few crays and King George in Parker point of all places

lol...done that on me first over night trip on the boat, wasn't sleeping on it though.
Gezz the boys have grown..remember them all in the cab on the old boat on the abrohlos trips.
Will be over new years eve with the family, looking to pull into the Fay ray or Longreach for the day so the crew can get there snorkling fix. Will sleep the night on the boat with the daughter as the winds not ideal for the late trip home. Up early have a few drifts then head back to Freo.

Sleeping at Beach Pens
Gday,
Can you sleep on the beach in swag at the beach pens and/or is it monitored by rangers etc? Boats not big enough for us all. Cheers

I reckon they turn a blind
I reckon they turn a blind eye (especially NYE) mostly unless you cause trouble or get reported
Probably wouldnt get awas with it peak times though right in front of the pub!

Jumping off the rock at
Jumping off the rock at Eagle Bay was a rite of passage for our gang. We were heading over for NYE but I called it early due to strong wind warnings. Made the right call as the boat isn't running right anyway.

Yeah Paul. Hopefully it's just the usual $1,000 or $2,000 pain in the arse and not something big!
