Pressed Alluminium Boats
Submitted by jay_burgess on Tue, 2007-11-06 11:49
I have been looking around at all the pressed boats available on the market. So far the manufacturers I've looked at include, Stacer, Quintrex, Ally Craft, Mako Craft, Horizon Boats, Sea Jay. I'm looking for a boat that has a deep v-nose and in the 4.5m range (must be available as a tiller).
The models that stand out to me so far are the Ally Craft Kakadu Karrier 445 and the Horizon Northerner 445. Both have a good beam for their size and a nice hull depth. Has anyone had much experience with Ally Craft and more specifically Horizon?? Is there any other manufacturers you'd recommend looking at?

I had a look at the horizon
I had a look at the horizon 445 and was very impressed. Im in the same boat (parden the pun!) and in my price range im leaning towards the horizon side console setup. Ive heard nothing but good reports about these so far......but thats all i can say.
Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!
