Pinky Sesh 2nd Aug!
Submitted by Anonymous on Fri, 2017-08-04 16:20
Well it's that time of year again and after 20 years of targeting inshore Cockburn Sound pink snapper I still look forward to it!
I went out a few nights ago and took out staff member James and we bagged out on pinky's on baits!
Looking forward to many more sessions out there including targeting them on softplastics and fly!
Probably the only good thing about winter haha

Solid - nice work!
Heading out tonight for a crack, hate to ask but do you think inside the sound (inside garden island) is more productive than outside (say between garden island and FFB) ?

Info!
Hi Francis, there have been Pinkys caught inside the Sound by several customers and people I've been talking to at the boat ramp. The islands and outskirts of Garden and Carnac have produced but no hot spots at the moment as it's still early! Good luck tonight

Thanks mate! Bit late for
Thanks mate! My reply is a bit late but for what it's worth we ended up sitting between garden and Carnac island thru sunset. Lots of burley but no interest from anything. Lots of boats out trying tho - we didn't hear any yahooing so can only assume others had the same luck as us.
Anyway, will try again at the next chance.
Thanks again

It's at the Cockburn Power boat club, and it's fully booked out.
